We are excited to announce that Heidi Baskfield is stepping into the role of interim Executive Director of PCMH. We’re thrilled Heidi has agreed to serve in this capacity as PCMH continues to implement our transition plan to find a permanent executive director.
Heidi has worked on system reform in the mental health space for more than a decade. In addition to her role at PCMH, Heidi serves as Vice President of Population Health & Advocacy at Children’s Hospital Colorado. In this position, she designs and implements innovative models of care that generate comprehensive health and wellbeing for kids and their families. She also plays a supporting operations role for the hospital’s Pediatric Mental Health Institute.
Prior to joining Children’s Colorado, Heidi worked under Governor Ritter and also served as an attorney with the State’s protection and advocacy center for people living with disabilities, where she advocated on behalf of children experiencing mental health challenges.
We are so grateful to have Heidi’s passion for standing up on behalf of vulnerable populations, serving others, and making a meaningful difference. We look forward to her leadership as we work to build a stronger, more coordinated behavioral health system for all of Colorado’s kids.
If you’d like to get involved in PCMH’s efforts or simply send Heidi a warm welcome, you can reach her at heidi.baskfield@childrenscolorado.org.
