All Training DBT Intensive: Using Skills with Younger Children

This course is focused on learning ways to implement skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with elementary-aged youth.  Participants will be given the opportunity to learn several skills for emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness and ways in which they can be adapted for younger children.  The training will provide participants with hands-on learning opportunities and strategies to implement immediately following the course.  This course is best suited for mental health professionals working to support youth.  A certificate of attendance will be provided for this course.  Please click on the “Zoom Link” button to access the Zoom information and to add the course to your calendar.

Please note: while this course reviews strategies from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, individuals who attend this training will not receive certification as trained DBT therapists.  This is an introductory course.
