This course is a two-part live-online series that will review best practice guidelines and offer practical suggestions for school districts looking to develop or improve policies and procedures to support students experiencing thoughts of suicide. Recommendations for suicide screening, assessment, safety planning, re-entry post hospitalization, and ongoing monitoring will be reviewed. This course is appropriate for school administrative staff or mental health professionals who are involved in developing and implementing suicide prevention policies within their school community.
